Yeah, we are a little behind. We went down to Chehalis to do the Easter train and the egg hunt. Kids had a blast. Here are some pictures. Of course we went with our neighbors, Jones.

Point Defiance Zoo
A couple of weeks ago Andrea Jones and I took the kids to the Point Defiance Zoo here in Tacoma for the day. Kids had a blast especially Erin.
Jacob loved looking at the starfish, however he didn't want to touch them at all. Isabelle on the other hand wasn't shy at all.

She really did enjoy the water. This is here gasping for air, but then she would put her head back down waiting for the water to spout again. It was the funniest thing to watch. She was giggling and laughing. There were quite a few people just enjoying watching Erin having fun with the water. Not once did she wimper or cry, she just loved the water.

Erin was interested in anything that had to do with water. She loved the fish aquariam, the sharks, walrus, and the ducks. After the kids were done seeing the animals we went to a play area where they had water spouts. Both Jacob and Erin loved it.

Primary Activity - Nephi's Challene
We had a primary activity that we organized called Nephi's Challenge where the kids went "camping" and learned some of the lessons that Nephi and his family learned in the wilderness. The kids had a blast, we had tents and campfires (of course not real ones) and sleeping bags. After the activity the kids went to the gym to the land of "milk and honey." Here is a picture of Jacob with our neighbors; Isabelle and Collin.

One of the activities was learning about Nephi and his broken bow. We had a picture of a deer mounted on the wall and each child took a turn to shoot it with a bow and arrow. They loved it.
